FEBRUARY BIRTHDAY MINISTRY

In 1982, the church outlined the mission and purpose for the Birthday Fellowships. In 1983, Ethel Graves called a group of members together to form the February Birthday Fellowship. The group consisted of Sisters Helen Jones, Wanda Gaines, Dorothy Exum, Rhonda Carney, Connie Collins, Rose Southerland, Lucy Wyatt, and Rowena Jackson; and Brothers Detrick Gale, Johnny Carney, and Edward Mitchell. Sister Graves was elected the fellowship's first president. Other past presidents are Edward Mitchell, Connie Collins, Rowena Jackson, Rose Southerland, Sheryl Gonzalez, Dorothy Cotton, Diane Pierce, Barbara Davis, and currently Barbara DeVeaux
