ADULT

P.S.A.L.M.S. (Positive Single Adult Living Ministry Study) was developed to help meet the unique needs of the single Christian by developing godly character and initiating opportunities for service. Our goals are to 1) Welcome and affirm adults who are single by choice or circumstance as whole persons 2) Provide opportunities for and encourage singles participation in all facets of the church's ministry 3) Identify and tackle the challenges facing single persons in our church and community 4) Share the love of Christ by providing opportunities for worship, study, service, support, missions, and fellowship in a Christian environment.
 

"To evangelize and disciple single men and women through various means consistent with the Word of God and to build and strengthen one another within the Body of Jesus Christ."

Monthly meetings are held the first Saturday of every month from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the James J. McCord Education Building, 3rd Floor Board Room. Among our annual activities and services are a Valentine's Day Event, Easter Bags and Bibles for Single Parents and their children (in conjunction with the Evangelism Ministry), a newly developed Love Conference (with the Couples for Christ Ministry), College Care Packages for our college/career students (in conjunction with the Evangelism Ministry), assistance with the Harvest Festival (in conjunction with the Evangelism Ministry) as well as the preparation and delivery of Thanksgiving meals, Singles Week Activities including a one night revival and workshop, as well as Game Night, Movie Night, and other fellowship opportunities.
