Mission Statement
The mission of the Seasoned Saints Ministry is to promote spiritual, physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth through a variety of wholesome activities that challenge and stimulate older adults to explore areas that will enhance a healthy and vital lifestyle that glorifies God.
History
The Senior Member Center was developed in 1994 as an expansion of the Senior Citizens Ministry. It was designed to meet the needs and interest of a diverse group of adults 55 years and older. While emphasis is placed on members of First Baptist of Highland Park, other senior citizens are accepted into the program on a space- available basis.
Services and Activities
The Center's ongoing program provides a broad range of enrichment activities and supportive services which include:
- Breakfast and hot lunch
- Transportation to and from the Center as needed
- Bible Study
- Exercise
- Arts and Crafts
- Forums and workshops
- Trips
